Join Norman, Simon and Lindsay as they sail from Oban around Ardnamurchan Point to the Small Isles. On each island, climb with Norman and Simon to the highest peak, from Muck's 137 metre Beinn Airean to Askival, which at 812 metres is Rùm's highest mountain. See and learn about the wildlife to which the islands are home, including the insectivorous butterworks and sundews, and hear about their history (including George Bullough's two attempts to build a mausoleum and the Isle of Eigg's green electicity project). Meet residents of each of the islands to learn more about how life in these remote places is changing and, if you have been inspired to visit, pick up a few tips for your time on the islands.

And sail the few miles north to Loch Scavaig (described by the Clyde Cruising Club as the most awe-inspiring anchorage in Western Europe) on the Small Isles' neighbour, the Isle of Skye. You will visit Loch Coruisk in the heart of the Cuillin, climb Sgurr na Stri at dusk and watch the sun set over the mountains.
